I collect your email address when you sign up in order to provide you with account-based functionality.

Your IP address may be stored on the web server and Sentry for error tracking purposes.

Google reCAPTCHA is used to prevent bots from spamming the website.

By uploading content, you grant Kantami.com a perpetual, worldwide, unrestricted, non-exclusive, transferable, and sublicensable right to store, edit, publish, reproduce, and use the content in any and all media.

This is mostly because I don't yet know all the ways user-generated recipes might be made available. Users may set their recipes to public themselves, other users may be able to create variations based on other recipes, and I may promote recipes in some way I have not yet considered. Generally, treat any information you share as something that might be publicly available. I will probably add more visibility settings later.
